Description

In this section of the text, Jung’s ‘I’ reduced Izdubar to the size of an egg to enable him to enter a house to enable his healing. Following the incantions, Jung’s ‘I’ reopens the egg and Izdubar is reborn in a renewed form. The egg is seen here in the center.

This image is part of a sequence which symbolically depicts the regeneration of Izdubar. The entire sequence depicts the rebirth of God in Jung’s soul, and represents a renewal of life and vitality.
